M-Audio Nova Pros & Cons
- Linear frequency response which ensures unbiased and uncolored sound. Hence, bass to mid range frequencies get represented very well resulting in a better mix.
- Comes with a combo of hard mount, carrying case and 2 meter XLR cable. Thus, you might not need to buy these stuff separately.
- This microphone has a somewhat high floor noise than other mics in similar range. However, this issue can be corrected easily by using either a gate plugin or corrective EQ.
- Although the Nova comes with hard mount, you still might need to buy a shock mount. Also, the 2 meter cable provided may be quite small for your needs. Therefore, you may need to buy a 5 meter or 10 meter XLR cale
